Whether your patient has requested the return of their crown or bridge and would like to be reimbursed or your dental office generates a low volume of scrap, this program is geared specifically for recycling small quantities of dental scrap or gold jewelry.
1. Order our free package of six free prepaid bubble-lined mailers. Reorders are unlimited.
2. Put any amount of scrap you wish to send us in the mailer, even a single crown or bridge. There is no minimum. Gold or semi-precious dental scrap, along with gold jewelry, can be enclosed. Include partials only if the metal looks yellow to the eye. No amalgam, please. Teeth and porcelain can be attached. Remember to close the self seal.
3. To ensure prompt payment, fill out the return label with the name and address where you’d like payment sent. A check can be mailed to the doctor, a staff member or patient.
4. Also enclosed are individual instruction cards to hand out with each mailer. The sender should copy down the mailer’s MRS tracking number on the line provided and retain it for their records.
5. Drop the sealed mailer in a mailbox, hand it to your carrier, or bring to the post office. We pay the postage.
